Pros
Very high level of respect shown by management toward employees.
Cons
Fairness in how promotions are given.
Pros
In the past, they tried to promote comradery among the employees
Offered educational opportunites (but don't count on getting a promotion or any recognition when you get them)
Cons
Gave promotions to who they felt should have them based on personal reasons and not job performance and background
Opts to take short cuts instead of doing things the right way
Sometimes condescending to employees
Stupid rules like you can only have 1 picture frame on your desk....WHAT???
When I came to the company, shares were about $40, they have now hovered around $2 for the last 3 years.
Spent money on what they wanted and not what was needed
---I couldn't fit the rest....too many
Advice to Senior Management
Close the company and start over.................... doing things the RIGHT way.
Pros
The best thing I can say is it's a place to go in and make good money.
Cons
Professional growth is non-existent. They hire people that have "been there, done that" and expect them to do it for the next 15 years. Promotions are given to people, not based on merit, but on politics.
When I worked there, work life balance was not possible. My boss wanted to essentailly make any and all decisions. Ther ewas no latitude. thismeant that my phone was ringing from 6:30am to 7pm with questions and demands for information.
Advice to Senior Management
Talented people work for the company. You pay tol dollar to get top people. Listen to them and let them do their jobs.
Pros
great people, very friendly. didn't always adhere to timelines, but is nature of the job to be flexible to meet the demands of business
Cons
better communications with external consultants would produce more efficient remote user work. great people, but need a bit more project management

Pros
KV Pharmaceutical has/Had the potintial to be one of the leading generic companies in time.
Cons
KV Pharmaceutical had a lack of focus when it came to putting drugs on the market. They had a shotgun approach and poor communication. Also, as long as the old managment stays in place they will continue to struggle.
Advice to Senior Management
Retire. Open communication and be accepting of new Ideas..And for god's sake invest in some good manufacting equipment as well as hire competent people to run it.
Pros
Great pay and benifits. My manager was great there
Cons
They downsized 75% of their sales force.
Advice to Senior Management
Fix the manufacturing problems.
Pros
Good Pace
Lots to learn
Friendly people
Cons
Too much going on, company did not have a handle on quality
Advice to Senior Management
Get people who know how to run a company not ruin it.
