    Pros

NO ONE is appreciated....so you are all treated equally.

    Cons

My boss felt that if you did a good job, well that was what you were paid for. If you made a mistake, she felt justified in yelling. The president of the company feels that KSU (nearby) is his personal source for a endless supply of talent; consequently they don't invest in ANYONE, just replace them.

    Advice to Management

Your company is failing, and deserves to do so. Take a management class.

    Pros

Great Learning opportunities, Variety of technologies, Large plant with 10 Gas Tubines & 5 Steam Turbines, Supportive working environment. Good work life balance with no culture of sitting after office timings, a great HR & OD department offering a lot of training and development opportunities.

    Cons

Low pays as compared to other power plants in the region, Technologies installed are very old. Promotion duration is minimum 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to set examples by leading and not just managing. Management needs to develop people to become leaders and not just wait for leaders to emerge.
