I worked at KBR full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

None that I can think of. Maybe the fact that I don't work for them any longer and was able to move on to a company that values their workers.

    Cons

Nepotism at it's finest. Supervisors that rely on the workers below them to get them by. Government sanctioned payroll policies that benefit the company and not the workers.

    Pros

Good Pay. Good if you personally know someone in upper management.

    Cons

Bad if you DO NOT personally know someone in upper management. Either way you're a work horse. The only difference is you get treated as a thorough bread rather than a mule. Safety? OH yeah, for the office workers. In the trailers or connex two blocks away from the building area. When you get hurt the first thing they do is pull out your file to see how many times you've been hurt. That's to move your name closer to the first lay off list, and the do not hire list for the next death zone,,,, oh excuse me I meant to say project. Yeah construction is dangerous but lets really make an effort to implement safety and honest care for the REAL ACTUAL money makers.

I have been working at KBR full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoy the fact that I work shift and I get 14 days off a month. Pretty laid back job. A lot of sitting around during slow season like during shutdowns and winter time.

    Cons

It sucks. a lot of he said she said. People like to talk. Very bureaucratic to the point that it's silly. I feel like they care more about safety than they do the individuals they're are trying to keep safe.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

treat you employees better. Give raises and performance reviews when they're due
