    Pros

overall safety is good and inforced every second of the work day the pay is good on these projects most of the time and the hours ar good as well training is provided to advance yourself on kbr projects

    Cons

you hear a lot of people saying all the time of why they will fire you from safety all the way thru forman its like they have no leadership anymore so they use threats of being fired to inforce policy the team effort is lacking on a lot of their projects each craft fights each other a lot and there is a click if you want to stay with the company on the long term basis

    Pros

    They implement the 9/80 schedule.

    Cons

They're losing a lot of employees...something's not right. They haven't been winning much work lately and are forcing people out. Health benefits, PTO and holidays are average.

    Pros

A great place to work downtown Houston. People are nice and the benefits are good- was better with Halliburton.

    Cons

Recent changes in the top management have caused confusion within the organization and has resulted in increasing the overheads and loss of projects.

    Advice to Management

There are a lot of silos still within the organization with duplication. Organization needs to be more streamlined.

    Pros

Pay is ok.CEO seems to be trying to turn things around

    Cons

Management is very biased in who deserves time off and they screw common laborers by keeping their wages one cent ($o.o1) below amount required to receive per deim. Have no concern for the wellness of immediate family even with doctors note explaining the need for absences..

    Advice to Management

Quit lying about being a family oriented business and stop screwing unskilled laborers out of their per deim.

    Pros

9/80 Schedule, good benefits, casual working environment.

    Cons

No notice of impending layoffs. When management decides to cut employees, HR discretely comes in with a stack of red folders with a list of employees on their hit list. Management asks to meet with you along with HR to advise your position is being terminated that day. I worked for KBR for over 14 years and that's what happened to me. Very sad, because it was a great company to work for until management decides you're no longer needed.

    Advice to Management

With all the reorganization that goes on at KBR, management is unstable; they don't stay around long or are also terminated.
