    very stressful without work/life balance

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe new compensation plan offers greater commission opportunities.

ConsVery heavily Micromanaged, inadequate training for actual post acute positions but excellent for acute positions in hospital sales. Lack of management support. Too many rapid ongoing changes which never allow you to become master the different aspects of the job. Many benefit losses in since purchase in 2012.

Great Job but company had no direction

    Sales (Former Employee)
    Kansas City, KS

Prosgreat products and great people with whom I worked with. Job was very rewarding and challenging as well. I was left alone to do my job but help was provided when I needed it.

ConsCompany only cared about bottom line and was constantly changing goals. There was a change of focus quarterly and big changes in focus, not minor ones.

    Poor leadership flows downward

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI like the people on my team and 401K match is good

ConsShifting priorities, no one can make a decision, when they do it's "I want this done yesterday". Very poor communication across and within business units, leadership makes changes without doing a sanity check to see if our systems and processes can even support it, it's just "do it because we said so". No ROI analyais on projects, those are based on who is funding it not if it's good for the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementSeriously evaluate your current senior leadership and the structures underneath. Does HR really need a Sr VP and 5 VP's? really? When looking to cut costs cut at the mid to senior management level. Putting Shared Values on paper doesn't fix a broken culture.

    What a disaster

    R&D (Former Employee)
    Bridgewater, NJ

ProsDecent salaries, 401K matching, but that's about it. Lots of people that want to do the right thing, but it's hard to care when your hard work is not rewarded.

ConsThis place is a joke. No opportunities for advancement, and a disgruntled work environment. High turnover and random layoffs without warning.

Advice to Senior ManagementFigure out that you want before having people invest years of their lives into projects that didn't have the proper due diligence done in the first place.

The change to private equity ownership has been very hard on employees, and leadership does not understand the people.

    Senior Manager (Current Employee)
    San Antonio, TX

ProsSelf-managed vacation is great if you can squeeze it in and not feel guilty.
There are some great people working here who really care about their work and the customer.

ConsSenior leadership is not very strong. Leadership is not very interested in developing people or always doing the right thing.
There are very few developmental or promotion opportunities, but that is partly because the company has performed poorly (decreasing revenue) for over 2 years.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest more in your people. Train them and promote them.
