Former Employee - Intern Electrical Engineer in Karāchi (Pakistan)

I worked at KESC as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The management have started to understand their corporate responsibilities and are working together as a team with a proper aim to improve the overall system of not just the power distribution in a mega city like karachi, but also playing a vital role in creating awareness in the society about safety and crimes relating to power theft.

    Cons

The lower lever management is not so efficient and needs improvement in many ways. Hiring is biased. Opportunity should be given to anyone who has the merit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upon hiring new engineers the HR department should not only look towards universities that have their Alumni in the company. Other students of the universities can be equally talented and should be given equal selection criteria.
