    Pros

Great family atmosphere. If you learn quick on your own, you will go far. Very nice houly wagr for managers.

    Cons

Did not have the support of the ARL because others store had bigger problems then my store. Just because my store didnt have problems didnt mean that I didnt have questions to go further with my experience and to better the company. And after excepting my first salary I learned what the company had budgeted for the yr for the RGM! If you budget 40,000.00 and only pay your RGM 32,000.00. How is that fair?? and to top if off, only manager in store, I was the only one to do orders, training, receiving, hiring, schedule, dead lines, conference calls, budget managment and MANAGING THE STORE. And with only one Shift Leader in (training). :(

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to what your RGM is actually doing not just what they are required to do, because believe not some Managers make a store there home and put all there time and energy into the store and not to be noticed other than vrrbal recongnition is hard to work day in, day out.

I worked at KFC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I met one of my closest friends there.
The training you get is in multiple area's meaning you'll get more experience to find a job and get out of there

    Cons

You hours are always cut, regardless full time or not. We started with 10 full time spots my first year, the second one we were at 5 and I was one of the lucky 5, I would always come in when the other ones would call out, then we got cut to 3 full time spots, and they were given to the friends of the managers, and they didn't do no where near the work I did or he other co worker that got cut.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Step up, or move aside, let someone with PROPER training get in.

I worked at KFC part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Mostly good people to work with
Will work with your school schedule

    Cons

Upper management cares way more about money than people
    Work outweighs compensation
No full-time work for most people
Not a lot more compensation for managers
    Cutting down hours
Impossible to support yourself with only this job.
You only get one unpaid half hour break after working 6+ hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value the people who work for you. Happy employees give good customer service.

I have been working at KFC full-time for more than a year

    Pros

great pay if your in management

    Cons

having a manager with double standards and favorites and not allowing another manager voice there own mind.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

there should be undercover boss`s going to these businesses to see how rgm`s truely treat all there employees without letting anyone know including A.R because they at times pass information to them.
