I worked at KMK Consulting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Co-workers are very friendly and willing to help. Workload is relatively low, and the work itself is very easy to get hands on.

    Cons

    1. This is more of a "staffing" than a "consulting"company and company structure is very disorganized as they keep recruiting people. Some senior managers are overly powerful and the CEO turns a blind eye by ignoring lower-level employees' opinions. Also, most of the managers are very inexperienced. 2. Work is tedious and not very challenging. Not much to learn after first half year. You are more of a data "steward" than a data "analyst". 3. Salary is relatively low at entry level.

I have been working at KMK Consulting as an intern

    Pros

Everybody is very friendly. There are a lot of events happening every month which makes working at KMK more enjoyable. People are very helpful as long as you seek for help. Even though the work seems to be not very challenging think it would be a good start for a new graduate as they also sponsor H1B and GreenCard.

    Cons

The company is not racially diverse. Most of the people consist of Asians. Low salary.

    Advice to Management

They should try to make the company more diverse. Also increasing the salaries would be nice as the current salaries are not very attractive for new hires.

    Pros

Learn so many tech skills in this company. SAS VBA SQL Presentation, etc

    Cons

Not so formal, too much down time. Low salary. Works are nothing challenging.

    Advice to Management

Great management. Just need to be more professional and don't be micro managers.

  7. Nice. Since the company has moved to morristown, the working surrounding has been improved a lot!

    Pros

    Clearly demonstrated career development pathway; Helpful colleagues; HR is very nice;

    Cons

Low racial diversity (mostly Asians) Relatively low salary for entry-level Take years to get promoted from Jr. to Sr.

    Advice to Management

More focus should be put on interns' personal growth. All the interns would go through two to three months of self-learning and there is little training and mentoring from the managers unless you ask them, which leads to a weak bond between interns and the company. I think more person-to-person training and mentoring could enhance the commitment and make more people stay.

I have been working at KMK Consulting full-time

    Pros

Decent salary with good salary increase if you can perform.

    Cons

Need better managers who can speak English. Management tried to put more people in a limited space without proper personal space and didn't even provide cubicles. People use laptop screens to hide what they are doing even though they have big monitors because everyone sees everyone's screen all the time. We are not college kids any more. If your can't trust your employees, you shouldn't have hired them in the first place.

    Advice to Management

Not everyone can be a manager. Some people are better off just doing a technical work than managerial work.
