Pros – Honestly I don't think their is any anymore.
Cons – Very political environment. WATCH YOUR BACK. Keep your thoughts about the mistakes management makes to yourself.
There is not much progress in terms of addressing internal problems with product, policy, sales, marketing, leadership, etc.
You are on your own here.
No career path whatsoever.
Fake objectives and reviews.
Very poor and partial sales and marketing tools, handouts, case studies, etc - you better be a good tap dancer and a do-it-yourselfer.
Stop letting go of the good talent, because they don't agree with some middle management person that actually has no clue what they are doing in the first place.
Promote the people that actually know how to use the product and actually solve customer problems, NOT promote dishonest people, as a way to protect middle managements job.
Advice to Senior Management – LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES THAT DO THE WORK. STOP PROMOTING DISHONEST PEOPLE. Do you have ANY idea what is going on in your company? Oh wait, you are all EBIDTA. Let some heads roll for poor performance, NOT just for cost cutting. When you promote mediocrity, you get it.
Pros – First, lets be clear here. This is not the Knova Software that existed 2 years ago. Yes, it is the same company, but it is now under 100% different management. This management is not interested in software, so there aren't any demands put on us at all to be productive. It is all about milking existing customers on maintenance. So, the demands are low, the workload is small, and the challenges are non-existent. Good place to collect a paycheck, smile at the right people and go home.
Cons – Smart people are punished here
Advice to Senior Management – Sell the company to someone who understands the business. Be honest to customers.
