    Pros

KOTRA has a very well system setup. There is great communication between the headquarters and local office branches.

    Cons

Long hours, high expectations, and need to be fluent in multiple languages.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Certain methods are outdated. Wouldn't hurt to use newer technologies to improve efficiency.

I worked at KOTRA full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are no pros to working here. Stay away at all costs if applying for job in the US. Does not fit with American culture and management doesnt know how to conduct business

    Cons

EVERYTHING about this place is terrible. There's no room for growth if youre not hired in Seoul and management treats you like youre an idiot when they themselves dont know what to do.

I worked at KOTRA as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

The Hanoi office is nicely equipped. Staffs are friendly and young.
    Salary increases twice a year.

    Cons

Limitted number of official contracts with the headquarter. In the first one or two year, it might be on a short term unofficial contract, and then local official contract and then official contract with the headquarter.
During busy period preparing for exhibitions, working overtime is frequent.
Most of the staff are female.
Job assignment for marketing department is not so challenging. Research department might involves more deep insights into some specific industries,
