I have been working at KPI Partners full-time

    Pros

    There are few good projects.

    Cons

Not optimistic about future vision and goals. The whole company revolve around few peoples which makes a big barrier to bring and grow new talents. 0% consideration on employee concerns which makes consultant life horrible. No organization structure and policy on hiring, performance review, training and growth, etc.

On top of all, no visibility or transparency on company outlook even to employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please stop relying on few people for everything. Bring proper procedure and policy to manage people and projects. Success should not be measured mere from project success, employee success should also be a factor in companies success.

I worked at KPI Partners as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

This company runs only for management

    Cons

    (1) No professionalism. Most of their projects are short term, but they always tell you that "their projects
are long term" Never relocate you will be screwed
    (2) Most of the senior manager are very cruel & treat Contractors very badly
    (3) They suck your blood- Work timings are from 7:30 AM till 7:30 PM. But they pay you for 8 hours
    (4) If you ask about extra time, they will fire you on the same day
    (5) They mention their projects are expenses paid projects – But they will never pay
    (6) Still want to try you !!! Prepare for the worst
    (7) Their moral is very simple " USE and Throw". They run their business on this policy only

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advises as I feel they will not survive for long time as they are with no morals.

    I worked at KPI Partners

    Pros

Focused on OBIEE, data warehousing, ODI and other bi related projects. aggressive projects and timelines. Challenging work.

    Cons

Strictly for workaholics and people that can handle politics. Management processes are inexistent, people believe in blame game, always have to watch your back. The culture is passed on from senior management who passed on some indifferent attitude to some employees. Certain people here assume their superiority and try to downplay the achievements of others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be fair and learn to handle all employees equally. Rules and policies are meant to be applied equally for all employees.

    Pros

Platinum partner.Fastest growing BI Implementation company etc..All pros only for the top management.

    Cons

No Professionalism in management . They will always find faults when there is appraisal So don't look for any hike during the appraisal and they will always try to downgrade you. They will talk about ethics , business practices with employers and never follow the same with the client. Your compensation will look good but at the end you will have less money since their benefits are not good compared market.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees equally and fairly.

I have been working at KPI Partners full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good BI projects, Lots of travel , 24/7 work schedule - good for workaholics, Good salary

    Cons

No professionalism in the management - you can hear all types of swearing - the Partners and Senior Managers are very well known to use swear words in the meetings and it can as well be a team meeting with all the members of the team present.
There is no ethics in the management team.
There is no defined rule for performance / salary review, the review is not given on the basis of your caliber / successful projects or hard work. During the performance review they will they will be on fault finding spree to avoid you asking for a hike. You can get a hike if you submit your papers and show them the offer and in that case they will match the new offer, so the best way to ask for a hike is go get an offer letter and submit your paper if you want better salary.
There is a lot of micro-management by the senior management, they might have done some development long back but they are still living in the same old world and will always try to push the approach down your throat even though it might be wrong, then you will need to defend that solution approach in front of the client as well as digest yourself.
Of-late a lot of people at various levels - Consultants / Senior Consultants / BI Architects have left the company because of a variety of issues, some of them I have already shared above.
Compensation can be good but they don't have good benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please get some classes in office-etiquettes that way the team working under you will also get to learn them.

I have been working at KPI Partners as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Lot of good projects, challenging work, good money and allows you to learn new things related to technology.

    Cons

No ethics whatsoever in the Management Team. It's a company run by heavy fisted Partners and Senior Managers. Lot of micro management by the Partners and the Senior Managers, they are also interested in knowing why i was there in the rest room for 7 minutes, why so much time, it only takes 2 minutes? Very difficult for the contractors, you might not be paid for all the overtime and sometimes even for the regular hours. I was made to work very late hours / weekends and in the end was not even paid for that even though the Partner (Co-Owner) had promised to pay my dues. A lot of dirty politics - it's played with the customer as well as with the team, Management & Senior staff use it to keep the team divided and retain their control, no work life balance, a lot of onsite-offshore politics. You are safe only if you are in the core team of the very old hands of the company else you will be evaluated after each and every project how much ever good work you do. It's not for people who want to go by the books. There is no fare evaluation or HR procedure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dont play politics with the employees as you play it with the customers and contractors. Need Ethics in the team, it can only be there if there is a top-down approach.
