It is the foundatioin of your future career in the finance area, which offers you an opportunity to learn basic knowlege in financial analysis.

Lots of overtime. It's difficult to maintain work-life balance. Sometimes you have to work overtime without compensation. Anyway, the job is very challenging.
Advice to Senior Management
The management should pay more attention to the employee's life. Lots of staff complain about the flexible leave policy. We should deserve better.

KPMG China is yet to reach the global organisation's excellent standards in valuing employees, work / life balance etc.
Advice to Senior Management
Closer global collaboration on the "soft" issues, and review countries implementation, e.g. people management, recognition, performance reviews, non-discrimination (particularly, gender and race) etc
Pros
I like the dress code of KPMG, and among all the Big4 offices in Shanghai, KPMG locates the nearest to my home

KPMG hardly pay for the overtime working hours. the chargeable OT hours are less than 36 per month, while the real ot hours are over 100.
Advice to Senior Management
partners in KPMG China are still not localized, full of Hongkong guys who are not familiar with the culture of mainland China
Pros
Good reputation and trainings.
Clear career path and development.
Relative high pay than other jobs.
Good working place and colleagues.

The pay is not fair compared with the heavy workload and work overtime.
Advice to Senior Management
Talk to the employee more often to get real reflection of their feelings at work.
Try to solve the no OT problem.
Pros

Cons
There's always enough work to do. Lots of overtime and jobs away. This is both the pro and the con. That is how I feel.
