    Pros

Big money leads to big opportunities. You will have to work hard and will have to network well, but if you put in the effort the up room is there. If you take your career into your own hands you will be able to move far and fast.

    Cons

Big companies come with bureaucracy which can be annoying, but isnt overwhelming.
I dont personally have to travel much but I know a ton of my peers travel all the time.

    Pros

I have met some amazing people who have become great friends to me. There are some people who are so incredibly supportive of me.

    Cons

The practice I was assigned to refused to let me transfer. I always had the "average" or "above average" reviews, and I was still unable to get bonuses or promoted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I suggest you have your managers take an interest in their counselees instead of being completely and utterly self serving.

    Pros

The best company I have worked for hands down.

    Cons

Getting through the bureaucratic red tape is a real pain.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase investments around bleeding edge IT conferences for the technology team.

I worked at KPMG US full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great benefits, competitive salary and superb experience to have on your resume. They really care about their employees and depending on your situation can be very flexible.

    Cons

Depends on the role. For example there is a lot of overnight travel for auditors and engagement teams are constantly changing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to put associates on clients as close as possible to their residence and manage talent in a way to reduce travel requirements because it burns out the workforce and is really expensive for the clients.

    Pros

It is a resume builder and you gain good technical skills.

    Cons

Basically everything else. You are a number to them. Some people are great to work with, but others don't give a crap if you fail or succeed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you expect your employees to be surrounded by one another 24/7, figure out a way to get everyone together outside of the office more often.

I have been working at KPMG US full-time

    Pros

Great place to start a career. You are not building a career at KPMG, you are building your career outside of KPMG. The marketplace does recognize the value of Big 4 experience and it will be realized upon exit.
25 days of vacation is nice...but can you actually use them?

    Cons

you get vacation but using it is hard. If you use it, you feel bad as performance metics hurt you for using the vacation the firm gives you. Overall messaging is "do not use vacation and be a high performer or use it and be a under-performer"
Egos get in the way ALL THE TIME! Horrible teamwork. Worst self-interest I have ever been around.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
