    Pros

The people are friendly and work with you to succeed. Some perks throughout the year include Omaha Steak packages, happy hours and a holiday party.

    Cons

Hours are long. Support staff is not treated equally to the chargeable staff.

    Pros

    - 5 Weeks of Vacation from the start
    - Smart individuals and great problem solvers
    - Variety of personalities in our office; definitely not boring

    Cons

    - Long hours staring at the laptop screen during busy season (I'm fine with working, but my eyes hate me)
    - Exit opportunities for Audit? Yeah...not what I imagined when I was still in college.

    Advice to Management

    - Show more leadership, take time to be a mentor to your teams, and give your staff opportunities to shine.

    Pros

Good work-like balance, good perks, good access to training and to other online education sources, ok base salary for a new hire

    Cons

atleast for IT advisory, the work is mundane as you spend majority of your time documenting other work, do not feel like you add value to companies or your own education

    Advice to Management

be more upfront about the nature of the work

    Pros

Great place to work before advancing to other careers; manage people early on in career; very large network; great resources provided to take advantage of

    Cons

Did not handle recession well and now struggling with the recovery; easy to get lost in the shuffle; promotion and incentive process is very political and inefficient

    Advice to Management

Separate the audit industries more in terms of salaries, promotions, incentives; streamline the company bureaucracy; teach auditors how to manage

    Pros

I'm proud to say that I work for KPMG. Sometimes the hours are long, which is to be expected. I believe that the company does everything it can to keep us happy. Sometimes it gets lost in the trickle down to line level employees but the good intentions are there, which is alot more than I can say of some of my previous employers. Work hard and you will be recognized and promoted.

    Cons

You're not always appreciated. Sometimes the hours are long. There are people that make it not such a great place to work. But it is a career... not a vacation. The downsides are that of any job.

    Advice to Management

Leadership goes to great lengths to make sure this a great place to work. Remember that. Treat people like they are people, how you would want to be treated if you were in their position.

    Advice to Management

none - they think they are too clever to take advice from anyone, especially a woman
