    Pros

In my experience (as a relatively senior fee earner) the company demonstrably cares about work/life balance and the leadership walk the walk. Projects are varied and challenging and the reward structures and processes are quite progressive for a big firm. The company's csr programme is strong.

    Cons

It's a big firm; so good people can get lost in the crowd and get discouraged. Coaching for early-stage careers is patchy and dependent on the good will of the senior grades to make it meaningful and useful.

Work-life balance is till skewed quite heavily toward work. Comes with the territory in consulting but could always be improved and, as someone who has worked at a couple of other big consulting firms, I believe KPMG to be the best of them.

    Advice to Management

Create more space for innovation and reward it.

    Pros

    Very good benefits
    Good working environment
Plenty of opportunities for international travel in Advisory
Partners are reachable and listen to you

    Cons

Career progression to senior positions are not easy, requiring a strong internal network.
Salary is not competitive when compared to some big companies.
    Poor bonus.

    Advice to Management

KPMG should stop benchmarking themselves with the other big 4 and should start looking at what companies are offering to their employees in terms of salary and benefits.
