    -Community involvement
    -Friendly, team-oriented environment
-Free Omaha steaks and BBQs during the summer

Positive place to start a career.

Advisory Senior Associate (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsCommunal atmosphere, opportunity to expand your network, excellent benefits (non salary) package, supportive infrastructure, excellent opportunity for work life balance in most advisory networks

ConsSalary ranges on the lower rungs of competitive, highly political environment in most networks (more about who you know than what you do), beyond manager in advisory there is limited upward mobility as they seem to have committed to bringing in partners from external sources

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Great people, good benefits, good perks

Resource Management Associate (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsThe culture is based around both customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction. It is a culture worth working in.

ConsThey can be a little bit stingy when it comes to pay, but that's not always the case. Make sure to negotiate your pay from the beginning because raises can be hard to come by.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep it up, and remember to promote from within.

    Big-4 consulting done fairly well

Manager (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsEducational opportunities, chance to see many different operations, lots of on-the job learning. Good internal training/support.

ConsOnce you are at manager level, you are expected to do business development as well, and promotion opportunities depend on this. If I wanted to be a salesman I would have gone into sales. Also, it's the usual consulting arrangement - if you've done something once, you're considered the expert on that subject by your team; you have to talk to the client like you are, too.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake the business-development process more transparent, and provide more internal support for this.
