Company was good to work for. They have a very good culture and everyone is good to work with. They had a good structure and the policy and procedures went the same for everyone regardless of title.

I have been working at KPMG US full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Work from home, travel, team

    Cons

Work-life balance, no accountability, no actual acknowledgement of work done, poor general sentiment among employees, no pride in work completed

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Acknowledge that the employees do not trust management. Promises are made and very rarely come through unless you're at the Senior Associate/Manager level. People that are dissatisfied with their positions and voice that opinion are limited in what they can do to change that.

It has been a decent experience so far.

Current Employee - Advisory Manager in New York, NY

I have been working at KPMG US full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Mobility and opportunities to move around and change roles although only a recent change. I have been lucky enough to experince different roles and different offices. Firm is becoming more dynamic so change comes quicker and is tangible. Talent pool is on the rise for advisory so a lot of energy in the work environment.

    Cons

Firm doesnt match a 100% of the retirement plan contribution. Compensation could be better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Facilitate better 360 degree review opportunities so performance measurement is more objective and comprehensive. There is loss of talent attributable to sometimes the management group that sometimes does not act in the larger interests of the firm.
