I have been working at KT full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

If you want to play and get the wage, the old system of KT makes it possible for the employees.

    Cons

There is no vision in this company, declining revenue with no vision. Moreover if you are a manager actual salary does not get raised.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not focus on the short term strategy only. Moreover managers are just leaving the company because of the lackless of vision.

I have been working at KT full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - If you can withstand the pressures from the upper management, you are free to do most of the stuffs.
    - Extra benefits such as medical insurance and welfare points are great

    Cons

    - Compensation is below industry-average
    - Bureaucratic (you can't do this or that because other department won't like it, this is a great biz but we can't do this because it will cannibalize our revenue. We need to find the optimal timing)
    - Very rigid organization: saying "no" or "this is not worth doing" to managements' decision is not allowed. don't know why
    - Smart working culture is now being wiped out with new chairman in place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Please please please make sure that you think about the reality and the world before you make your decisions/orders
