    Pros

    - Very collaborative environment and culture, people will always help each other and there are plenty of social interactions outside of work (karaoke seems to be the favorite social activity) - Flexibility to work remotely dramatically improves work-life balance. No such thing as "face time", you are managed by what you do, not by how much time you spend in the office - The company is still nimble, so each role's responsibilities go beyond what traditionally such role would be responsible for in a larger firm = opportunities to learn outside your traditional day to day responsibilities - Online video is a hot industry, so it feels like the company's products are shaping online trends. - Most people take pride in what they do and in the company. They refer to themselves as "Kalturians" - Rapidly entering new markets or developing new products, so it keeps things interesting

    Cons

    - The company is growing fast so some processes that you would normally see in larger companies are yet to be implemented or need to improve. - Hours are long, there is always more work than one can handle

    Advice to Management

More focus on building internal processes that will scale through the company growth. Invest in middle management.

    Pros

Great people, great clients, smart colleagues, and amazing innovation. People are very hardworking and dedicated, lots of amazing talent.

    Cons

People who have limited experience are doing the job, and a constant learning curve. Executive management busier then anyone, reluctant to empower employees, and thus things are slow to change. Many looking for new jobs.

    Pros

fair compensation, lots of travel, large opportunity in the space, massive scale. Opportunities to work with large international clients on large complex projects.

    Cons

long working hours, cultural differences across the organization, tech center is out of Israel, there can be challenges in scheduling meetings.

    Advice to Management

Promote more direct project responsibility, maybe less middle layers, don't lose the startup spirit, that is in risk with company growth. Grow to handle demand to avoid stretching some people too thin.

    Pros

Flexible schedule, the ability to work remote from other offices, and travel opportunities - but don't expect anything above a 3 star hotel!

    Cons

-flexible schedule drives expectations of being available 24/7 (literally) -constant disrespect from peers and senior management, no communication skills -no customer success (account management has their own quota aside from sales) -little to no process around everything -Most management has zero experience of management -a manager once said to my co-worker "I could go outside and find someone off the street that could do a better job than you" -business decisions are made on impulsion and emotion -Egos -Expenses are limited when traveling

    Advice to Management

Don't be ignorant to what the market says, your employees, and most importantly your customer needs.

    Pros

Right place and right time to be at Kaltura! Company is invested in many portions of the video market place and is on a rocketship to grow. With growth comes challenges and steering a multi-headed / pronged company is not without natural distractions. If you can allow yourself to come up for air and see the 10,000 foot few, this is a place that makes peoples careers as all employees are given freedom to go and do, lead and address problems head on.

    Cons

Culture still figuring itself out. As the company has grown its gone through various stages of engagement and focus on the staff. There has been an impressive put to get personally engaged with all team members over last year and the culture is forming and being shaped as a kick a%splace to work.

    Advice to Management

Communication Communication Communication. A steady stream of dialogue with employees, disecting issues and

    Pros

Imagine a place in which every day you will face new challenges, meet great customers, and work with amazingly smart people. That's the way i feel in Kaltura. A rapid growing company, which brings many challenges, but on the same time, allow great flexibility while every contributor can become a real star. The video industry is the right way to be in these days, and Kaltura is absolutely leading this exciting industry.

    Cons

Lack of some processes, sometimes vague responsibilities, and endless deals in the pipeline, can sometimes spare few sleeping hours. For those who are concerned about these, Kaltura might not be the right place at this point. For others with entrepreneurs blood, it might be the perfect playground to experience and help to build.

    Advice to Management

More focus on HR to build the great talents in the company, while investing in the Kaltura brand to attract more great people, will definitely help.

    Pros

The quality of the people is top notch, there is a great atmosphere of team work and drive to get things done. While things are typically very busy and hectic, there's always a sense of accomplishment and moving forward.

    Cons

HR policies still need to be put in place. It's happening, which is a good thing.

    Advice to Management

Continue to speed up the HR procedures and processes, and be extra sensitive when it comes to personal requests and concerns from employees.

    Pros

The culture is one in which openness, collaboration, and "go win" attitudes are prized. The product is consistently rated as among the best online video platforms in the world and contributes to the fact that the employees enjoy the marketing, sales, and support roles that are shared among all. As best that I can tell, the executives share what they know, they share their communications with clients and the Board, and they are readily available to employees. The company is in a growth period and slated to bring on additional talent however at Kaltura the character and personality fit has to complement the talent and that's contributed to an improving retention and performance rate.

    Cons

As with any growing company, the maturity of the organization as it grows will hit ups and downs. When companies reach a certain point, it needs to implement certain financial controls, support processes, etc and Kaltura is no different. While this may irritate some, for those who understand business and growth, it should be no surprise and shouldn't impede Kaltura's ability to win new business and support employee development.

    Pros

Pay was competitive Benefits were not platform is pretty good..

    Cons

there are so many cons don't work here They only care about profit, not making a better product, not customer service completely unorganized. They have at this point given over $100M in funding..not sure where this has gone aside from in the pockets of the founders. LOTS of yelling and insults between colleagues sexual harassment is rampant and accepted

    Advice to Management

sell the company already so you can leave
