Cons – Low pay, subsidiary to singhealth, always need to follow group initiative, doctors and healthcare workers focussed,so less concerned about other group of employees

Pros – Lots of learning opportunities. People are ok to work with. Excellent annual leave entitlement. Starts at 21 days. Taking leave is another matter altogether given the heavy workload.
Cons – Finance people work the hardest and the longest among all departments within the hospital. Be prepard to put in long hours almost every day. Ask about the deadlines and workload carefully during the interviews. Eg if the work involves costing of services, ask how many services need to costed.
Advice to Senior Management – Promote better work life balance. There is no point in working hard at the expense of good health.

Pros – If you prefer a work-life balance environment and if you have a family then this is a good place. Good package for wife, fair bonus, good number of day leaves. The IT division is considered one of the most advanced in Singapore. The IT staffs are quite skillful and you can have exposures in both software development as well as project management (although this role would take time for you to achieve). The staff canteen is renovated and looks nice.
Cons – Takes time to promote. Don't really promote new ideas/solutions. So many meetings and discussions.
