    Free soda, really that is it.

    Cons

    Awful pay, you are lucky if you make more than minimum wage. Management is incompetent and easily the worst customers I've dealt with.

    Pros

    As a Store Sales Manager, I had a little bit of lead way when it came to making my own schedule

    The treatment of the managers from the coorperate office is unfair. The Corporate does not listen to the managers and the expectations are too great for the conditions the managers and employees work under. This company has a blind eye to what is actually needed at store level.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If you are a Store Sales Manager, get out now. If you continue with this company like I did for 10 years you will have medical problems because of the stress the corporate office puts you under. This company is going down hill fast.

    Pros

    it's a nice place to work if you need a shot at the last minute. Great relationships with customers.

    Cons

    Management is very horrible. They police us instead of the customers that actually shoplift.

    New faces and thats all nothing else good

    Cons

    Rat infected no raises and no advancements even after 2 yrs......they rather hire from the outside inexperienced n want u to train the person without getting paid for training

    Pros

    Pay is competitive. When actually allowed to do out job without being bombarded by 50,000 meaningless emails, and not be micromanaged like 2 year old children, I for the most part enjoy my job.

    Cons

    No respect. No appreciation. We are told to treat our employees with respect and like we want to be treated, but yet DMs can talk to managers any kind of way they see fit---crazy! We are more or less threatened with our jobs anytime someone does something stupid we all have to be punished for it... This comes from dm and regional people. The company has been sending emails out reminding us of core values... The DMs and above are the ones who need the refresher course. It's actually so ridiculous that it is comical! We are to respond to all emails in a proper time frame, but our bosses frequently flat out don't respond to our emails or answer phone calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get out in the field and talk to managers candidly. Even ask HR If they have had any complaints. HR did nothing for me and the complaint I called in. Basically dismissed me. Wake up! Managers are leaving and even taking lower paid jobs, serious pay cuts, just to get away from this company. Quit adding more work to us while cutting out man hours--- we really don't posses super powers!

    Only if you are a morning person-Mgmt day starts @ 5am

    Cons

    No am help when trying to finish reports by deadline & work morning rush
    No help from district mgr with store staffing
    Expected to work 60 hrs a week

    Free sodas and hot dogs (which after a while becomes a con)

    Cons

    Everything. Management is incompetent. You'll never know when you are working until the day before the week begins. Corporate goes out of its way to show that it doesn't care. Plus, you may have to work Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year's. Customers seem seem especially rude here and I have worked retail before so I am familiar with rude customers.

    I'll give advice to corporate instead seeing as that most of the problems stem from that level. Instead of cutting money off from stores that are doing poorly invest better into them so they can better improve their stores and customer experience and treat employees like actual human beings instead of indentured servants.
