I worked at Kantar Health as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Your knowledge can really be used, you'll not be treat as a dogsbody like many interns.

    Cons

For me as an intern it was OK, but for the full-time's working overtime is common.

I have been working at Kantar Health full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Vibrant collegial culture. Work hard and play hard. Innovative place where you can really use your brain. Never gets boring. Can work remotely.

    Cons

Compensation seems to be lagging behind the market. Work-life balance could be better. Job security is an issue. Has become too big and bureaucratic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have something special - don't let it become just another corporation.

I worked at Kantar Health full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Happy hour occasionally at work

    Cons

Manager had no knowledge of the disease areas studied, had poor to terrible management skills, unaware of appropriate research methodologies, and was not removed from the team despite multiple (5+) employees she "managed" quitting (most of whom cited her poor knowledge and leadership as the primary reason for leaving).
Company is focused on admin work and charging a premium price due to 'brand" rather than mentoring, training, developing employees and providing truly innovative solutions to client business issues. Quit within a few months

I have been working at Kantar Health full-time

    Pros

Great teams, interesting work, less frantic and cut throat than other consultancies

    Cons

Pay increases are linked to company overall performance. Most teams have flat wages, not even commensurate with inflation. Hiring and promotions are often deliberately delayed. No bonuses. Promotions may have pay increases approximate to promotions

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to retain talent, reward hard work monetarily. Cut the under performing teams who are dragging the whole company down,

I worked at Kantar Health full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Kantar Health India works with some of the best clients. The work and projects are really good and real time learning is quite high.

    Cons

Besides the learning, the team especially research executives and senior research executives are very overworked. If you are joining in those levels be rest assured, that you will work 12-15 hrs days and no weekends off, no holidays can be planned and also you cannot fall sick!

You will be the dump yard for work and after all this work that is dumped on you, you struggle to finish it, no one will review it... managers and top management do not have the time for the same.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This attitude of over dumping work on the team should be stopped. Hire a proper team and have a proper workload balance. Especially the managers who draw a better salary should be given proper part of the work.

I worked at Kantar Health full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Supportive and fun company culture, plenty of social and team building activities. Good communication of company strategy by the board to the rest of the company

    Cons

Frequent changes of line manager can make it difficult to build up a strong base of evidence for getting to the next promotion

I worked at Kantar Health full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

No reason indeed; salaries lower than market average, no fair treatment as seniors are given free hand to hire and fire. Career progression is vague and too much aimless talks and only slogans you get

    Cons

Loads of work thrown from seniors on juniors. So if you're junior better stay out plus all paid below market

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
