    Lame, but masquerades as a company with values

    Prosflexible schedule to work only where you want and work as little as you like
    decent pay for a side job (some test companies won't pay for prep) in addition to a 9-5
    easy to leave and get rehired

    Consgetting hired and starting work took 6 months because of restructuring, i got overlooked
    not enough hours for those who want it
    management is incompetent, always seeking a scapegoat
    only focused on money, more than employee and customer experience
    no room for corporate advancement, though I was an internal candidate, they never got back to me

    Advice to Senior Managementlearn to be more organized so you can be efficiently in deliver a good product to students and maintain dedicated teachers
    focusing on better communication would be a start. remote model will not be a feasible to uphold

    ProsKaplan Test Prep was a great part time job as a student. The manager was great, the pay was adequate, and the hours were very flexible.

    ConsGenerated leads from college students is not an easy task. Must be willing to accept rejection and continue.

    Good place to start a career

    ProsThe team at Kaplan is great, and the training is comprehensive so it's an excellent stepping stone for a first career.

    ConsAfter that however, there is little room for upward mobility and the starting pay, even with yearly raises will never be enough to sustain living in New York. During peak season you'll often work overtime, but unless your time is cleared in advance, you won't receive overtime pay.

    Full time for over four years

    When I started the company was well handled however there 3 changes in leadership
