I have been working at Kappa Search full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Kappa Search offers various compensation programs to fit an individuals needs. This is a great place people of all different experience levels. Fresh college students will likely make at least $60k in their first year. People with a few years of sales/recruiting under their belt coming in will feel very rewarded here in comparison to their previous employers, as commission is completely uncapped and you make a cut of every single deal you're involved in. Kappa Search also has an excellent team environment.

    Cons

There are up and down points of any recruiting job depending on the job market.

    Advice to Management

    Keep rewarding employees generously.

    Pros

There is a strong potential to make $60-80k your first year out of college here, as long as you put the time in. Very motivating commission structure and management rewards hard work generously. Young, exciting and energetic office environment with a staff that is always looking out for each other and finding ways to help one another.

    Cons

The job market is tumultuous but there are tenured account managers who can help recognize good opportunities from bad ones. If you aren't looking for a fast-paced, high rewarding position in sales then Kappa Search is not for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in the younger talent at Kappa Search, early success is the key to sustained success. Institute company wide training session 3-4 times a year to keep everyone fresh and on the same page with the processes.

I have been working at Kappa Search full-time

    Pros

Not a lot of pros here. Location is nice, I guess. If the company does well, they will do spur of the moment outings.

    Cons

100% COMMISSION PEOPLE. Scary for most, thrilling for a few. Not a professional environment at all. No training in place at all. Extreme amount of turnover - they'll hire new grads every year, and by the same year will have to hire just as many to replace all the ones that left.

    Pros

The company has a great location, right near the metra stops as well as the cta. Easy commute from the suburbs or if you live in the city. Business is always busy and there are plenty of house accounts for a new hire to work on. The people are are great and easy to work with. It is a young office, so there is a lot of energy and fun. Kappa is also recongnized nationally.

    Cons

the company is not as large as other companies, which can be a good thing depending on the person. There are not too many cons.

    Advice to Management

keep rewarding people for hard work
