I have been working at Kaspersky Lab full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are amazing, the career upside is phenomenal, and compensation and benefits are top notch.

    Cons

Honestly, there are not any that I can think of. Recently they flattened the management team, and that was a blessing.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your employees, and don't lose the culture.

    Pros

    Great co-workers, consistent raises

    Cons

International company that hasn't quite mastered the cultural barriers between offices

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Kaspersky Lab full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company is growing, it's experiencing new business models and approaches, which thrills me. A benefit package is one of the best. A Culture is good. For the last year we had TGIFs, a Healthy lifestyle quarter, casual all-staff meetings and many other programs. I like the management and lots of different cultures around. There are no zombie rules or cultural demands, you're allowed to be yourself.

    Cons

Some processes are exhausting. Senior management communicates with people less than needed

    Advice to Management

More often visit an American office and help us more.

    Pros

Decent pay, flexible schedule, relaxed environment

    Cons

Not a very social work place in this particular department.. By that I mean the people can be very difficult to deal with here. Surprising amounts of technical incompetence for a software company.

    Advice to Management

Get focused and value training yourself and those who work for you. Being passive aggressive is not a quality of an excellent leader.

I have been working at Kaspersky Lab full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

In my time at Kaspersky, I've had significant opportunities for training, expanded responsibilities, and advancement. Company environment is corporate, but still casual and offers a good work/life balance. While it's an organic and often changing business environment, if you are committed and focused, you can go as far as your talents take you. Compensation and benefits are some of the best in the market.

    Cons

I've noticed a theme of frustration working with Russian colleagues. This requires an understanding of Russian culture and the fact that we are one of many local offices working for a very large corporation. The tail can't wag the dog. However, patience and attenuation to a different corporate culture is an important part of career success here.

    Advice to Management

Stay nimble in a changing business environment. Consider extending some of the cultural training classes that are presented globally to include more US employees.

I have been working at Kaspersky Lab full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management is top notch and very supportive Good benefits- we got fitbits for a healthy initiative program Good technology - gartner magic quadrant Pay is good This is a white collar job with a blue collar environment. There are no flashy perks associated with some of the other tech companies just a solid product and solid people. Everyone is really helpful there is not a lot of push-back when it comes to writing business.

    Cons

It would be great to have the option to work from home .

I have been working at Kaspersky Lab full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Benefits, opportunity to work from home, great culture, very casual.

    Cons

HQ has absolutely no clue how to run our region (They are based off Russia) cutting people constantly, you never know when your last day will be. They shut down ideas because we are "Stupid Americans". They want to run things without any input from employees. Under paid employees.

    Advice to Management

Communication is key, especially if they are cutting your headcount. My manager had me write down my goals with the intention to let me go 3 days later without knowledge of this (Due to "head count")....completely wrong.
