    Pros

This is US based IT consulting company with lot of Fortune clients. They sponsor visas and green cards. Good salary (depends on the client).

    Cons

Benches consultants when there is no project. Does not provide training while on bench. You are with your own team when on project, you will hardly be dealing with Keane.

    Advice to Management

Treat human resources as they deserve to be treated.

    Pros

Multiple clients. Offshore /Onshore model gives good exposure to working with large teams and handling complex time sensitive issues.

    Cons

Poor Compensation. Long Work hours. No empathy/guidance from senior management towards day to day work assignment or long term career assessment. Rampant nepotism.

    Advice to Management

Given the number of hours employees spent at work at client site, should be better compensated. Should have feedback channel. Higher management should be actively appraised and made sensitive to day to day employees issues and redressal.

    Pros

    Good work/life balance, relaxed environment

    Cons

    - Changes to strategic direction are not communicated down the line, esp after Mani left as CEO in 2009 - Retraining or repurposing skillsets does not take place

    Advice to Management

Support new business initiatives even if they may take the practice out of the core/ comfort zone

    Pros

Over all a better company comapred to many Indian body shoppers. Good reputation among clients. Good health insuance benifits. Prefessional treatment with employees

    Cons

Do not do corp to corp. Not sponsoring green cards currently. Diminishing client base. Less pay compared to other preferred vendors.

    Advice to Management

Career growth to employees. Are we body shoppers or Solution provider? Right now we are none.

    Pros

You get paid overtime depending on which client you are assigned. There are some bright employees that I'm proud to work with.

    Cons

    1. They will cut your salary shortly after you are employed with them. They make a good salary offer, and then reduce after your other job offers have vanished. 2. You will get let go after completing an assignment; pipeline is small 3. Unless you work in India, job prospects or movement are zero to none. 4. Your boss is virtual; I've never spoken or met my supervisor; communication is via email and usually addressed to a group. When you leave Keane you won't be able to get a recommendation from your boss because he/she don't know you.

    Advice to Management

Do not over promise potential employees with salary, opportunities when there are none.
