    Pros

Great place to work with flexibility of schedule and office access, great advice, opportunity of phone time if you are eligible.

    Cons

After being a realtor for 7 years going back to corporate world for another good opportunity is almost next to nothing, if you are not barred to apply because of conflict of interest the stereotype of being a realtor does not work in your favor to land you a decent job.

    Advice to Management

I think we need to involve ourselves in community work for nonprofit, that may save our image.

    Pros

Had a lot of autonomy in how the business was run. Had hands on decision making with clients in pricing and service levels. Hired all associates. Much like running your own business.

    Cons

At the end the company made decisions that sent them in a downward spiral. Went from 2000 associates to 400 in less than 4 years. 850 millions in sales to 150 millions. Could not pay vendors. This became a difficult enviroment.

    Advice to Management

Know you customers needs and that they are changing. Technolgy has opened many new ways to purchase and research products. It is harder to get time from our customers to explain our benifits and what we offer. Be prepared when you get the oppurtuny. Handle any issues immediately.

    Pros

Best reasons would include the company culture, training and support given to new agents. You will have the opportunity to be trained by experienced agents which makes getting started a snap. The scripts and homework work!

    Cons

Sometimes it's hard to be develop you individual brand in a larger company. That is crucial to have in a a large metropolitan area. Also, there can be so many classes at times that you feel you have to attend all of them. That can take away from time to actually get in the field and work.

    Advice to Management

Encourage balance between education/training and getting in the field and working.

    Pros

The agents are Keller Williams are a terrific, collaborative, open bunch. They care about each other's personal and professional success. The training is excellent and they have staff available to coach new and seasoned agents to improve their success level.

    Cons

The biggest con is that there's no cushion--real estate is all commission-based. The rainmakers tend to be responsible for the majority of a market center's volume, leaving the "long tail" of less than stellar agents to eat up the tiny slice. It adds up to a profitable market center, but not necessarily the most beneficial situation for the new agent.

    Pros

Recongized name, power of the brand, excellent training. profit sharing if you do a lot of recruiting.

    Cons

No group benefits for self employed. Buddy network for promotions. Expensive to be an agent there. Costs from $20K-$30K plus office fees. Tons of extra fees. You pay for coaching. No mentoring. pressure to use "core services" which owners make money on .

    Advice to Management

be more selective. be more competitve with other R.E. brands.
