    Pros

Training was good and I was able to learn a lot in my short three months there. Work life balance was good and I had a predictable schedule.

    Cons

The pay is not the best, and I see little room at advancing further than real estate agent. Many agents also practiced unethical behavior

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on employee training and agent opportunities. Also work on agent ethics.

    Pros

Superb education, training, and class availability. Culture of success with a series of books supporting the real estate industry.

    Cons

None to think of ... real estate market in your area. If you have a poor real estate market it will be difficult for you. Boom and bust ... know how to play the game and you can succeed in any market.

    Pros

With the same training available at most offices, agents that get started here will have a good start. Seasoned agents are helpful and willing to let newbies get some hands on experience.

    Cons

It is hard to stop training and get started as an agent. I feel the team leaders want you to succeed just so long as they are there to hold your hand and take a large portion of your commission.

    Pros

Keller Williams has a great training program!

    Cons

After training help and interest from mentor dissapates

    Advice to Management

Mentors should express the same amount of interest in agents with small spheres of influence

  8. KW stands above the other real estate firms. The education and support received is excellent. It is really a win-win co.

    Pros

    Learn how to lead generate

    Cons

Education does not address providing agents with the necessary tools to service clients needs. Don't believe them when they tell you everyone in the office will help once you get the appointment with your prospect. Keep your prospect's information confidential even if you need help creating a CMA or RPR. My office couldn't seem to get me connected to MLS. They continued to blame Metro List. My prospect listed with a different KW agent which raised my suspicions of wrong doing. My new company (not KW) had me connected with MLS within 2 days. Watch out for the "Good Christian values."

    Advice to Management

Make sure support staff is competent to assist agents. Our agents did not know their website addresses or that they were not connected to MLS. Provide basic tools without agents needing to pay a mentor a portion of their commission. Too many agents not successful. Incoming calls and emails not going to the floor, but to a select few. Create a level playing field and share the leads.

    Pros

Just like any work place, you have to look at the individuals you're working with, and the effort you put in. I happened to work on a great team with a lot of leads and a lot of support.

    Cons

As a realtor, you are in charge of your own success to a large degree. If you work on a team, yu have to make sure your team leader is on the ball.
