    Pros

Fast exciting pace, incredible growth opportunities for life and business, growth centric company, focus on achieving work-life balance through "God, Family, Business" in an industry where it can sometimes seem impossible to do so.

    Cons

In my experience at the franchise level, the expectation that you can be everything to everyone. This can cause stress. No benefits at this particular franchise. May be different at other KW franchises

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Absolutely clear goals and expectation, make sure that our values are something we live by and not just talk about.

I worked at Keller Williams full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Great training opportunities. Agents are awesome, and helpful. Beautiful office spaces. DOFI represent the franchises well in each office. The MCA is the anchor of the franchise. Will challenge you to be the best you can be.

    Cons

The pay did not meet what staff was expected to do. There was a lot of turnover in staff and with the Team Leaders. Some Team Leaders are so interested in being "popular" or a "rock
star" that they miss out of building relationships with staff. Be humble and you will be able to build a great team in your office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be some changes made to policies so that the franchises are run like a business.

    Pros

The energy and positive mindset we gain if we already don't have it. Education and training. Profit share. The Market Center works as a team.

    Cons

Even though profit share is a positive at times the focus seems to be more on recruiting then the existing agents.

I worked at Keller Williams full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good new agent training.

    Cons

Once you're through the new agent training, you're on your own. Training classes after that are mainly just "motivational speeches".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be a little more realistic with what new agents should expect, and try to set them up with more established agents early on. They can get some referrals on buyer leads, hold open houses for current listings, etc. The faster their career begins to excel, the more likely they are to stick around and start making the office some money.

    Pros

They inspire you to build your own business and your own brand. They provide good training for people starting in Real Estate.

    Cons

Some of the training is outdated for the NYC or market. They need to find a way to add KW training models that apply specifically to NYC
