I have been working at Keller Williams as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Training was good and I was able to learn a lot in my short three months there. Work life balance was good and I had a predictable schedule.

    Cons

The pay is not the best, and I see little room at advancing further than real estate agent. Many agents also practiced unethical behavior

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep focusing on employee training and agent opportunities. Also work on agent ethics.

I have been working at Keller Williams full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Keller Williams is a great real estate company where everyone works as an independent contractor yet the company provides great admin support. The administrators are the glue that keeps everything running. They are a great help with dealing with office issues, getting paid, the real estate commission and the local boards. The company provides great opportunities and the training they offer is excellent.

    Cons

They will hire anyone with a pulse. Some people shouldn't be real estate agents and we would all be better off if they weren't hired in the first place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Only hire people that have potential.

I have been working at Keller Williams full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great training and business model

    Cons

They take anyone that walks in the door as an agent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on your current and producing agents, less on recruiting. They say their leadership has open doors, but reality is that they are closed most times and regional and national leaders are high pressure for recruiting the highest number of agents, not the most productive or most reputable.

I worked at Keller Williams full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Daily training. Everyone worked together to help each one be successful. It was one of the few places that I would actually consider returning to.

    Cons

None that I can think of

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Desk fees were reasonable but maybe offer new agents a few months with no fees to help them until they make sales.

    I worked at Keller Williams

    Pros

Great culture and training programs focused on business and personal growth. Profit sharing based on producing agents that you bring into the KW family.

    Cons

Sometimes felt more like a training company rather than a real estate brokerage. Experience varied greatly depending on market center.
