I have been working at Kellogg Company full-time for more than a year
Pros – Kellogg is a 100 year old company that requires entrepreneurs and innovators. The business is transitioning from a US-centric organization towards a global player. This means emerging markets, new categories, and probable acquisitions.
Cons – Processes are weak or non-existent in many areas. Building relationships is vital to overcome this. It is through relationships that you get the information and support needed because of the lack of process.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue moving forward, don't lose momentum. The vision and attitude of transformation is exciting and will move us towards great things.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Pros – Excellent opportunity to advance if you work hard and very people oriented culture. Networking is key, and you are able to have input on high level projects even in individual contributor type roles.
Cons – Too many people in the decision process at times can have a negative impact on ability to make change.
Advice to Senior Management – Embrace change and innovation, some times there are too many managers who like the status quo.

I worked at Kellogg Company full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – When I started with the company in 2009 it was a great place to work. They took care of their employees and had a great work life balance. Good pay and bonus structure.
Cons – Job security was always at risk, until they eventually laid off all their Retail Sales Representatives this year. There is not a lot of opportunity for advancement compared to other companies. They have another sales position that is still active in DSD. You work around 12 hours a day and have no work life balance. High stress!
Advice to Senior Management – New VP every couple years, high turnover rate, they don't know what direction they want to go in. They aren't taking their employees into consideration, just looking at bottom line. This company has went downhill the past few years. Hopefully they will turn it back around.

Cons – Your just a small voice in a large crowd.
Advice to Senior Management – We are people too, change is a must in this decade to stay above water, thats understood, but to bring on financial hardship with a plan that was necessary by the company to save our employment then to leave us without is just wrong

Pros – Very people oriented work culture. Nice facility and helpful co-workers. Lots of opportunities for advancement and the "FOOD HUB" is a PLUS+
Cons – Very people oriented work culture. Would recommend for those who are sociable and friendly. Bureaucratic at times but is a given for being such a large company.

I have been working at Kellogg Company full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Benefits are great, Company Car, Weekends off, Worked with little to no supervision,
Cons – Not enough time in day to get all the work done. When you got home, you had more work to do check emails do planners etc. and by the way trying to find time for family time was a mircale.
Advice to Senior Management – GO out in the field and really listen to Reps and report it all the way up to John Bryant and keep on doing it untl something is changed.
