Cons
No upward mobility. You will be stuck.
Pros
some of the best reasons to work here are to gain experience. good managers and a good way to learn about the industry.
Cons
some of the downsides are not being able to move up in the company. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Pros
Flexibility
Compensation largely based on how well you perform
Great Environment
Good Management
There's a sixty word minimum for publication here so at risk of losing my wonderfully simplistic, yet concisely accurate reporting, I will hereby added this wonderful reviews with these words.
Cons
As in all jobs, if you're stuck with a bad supervisor the whole situation can change
Advice to Senior Management
Some sales Associates require more management than others. The trick is to identify who need what sort of leadership.
Pros
World known designer brand with great footwear products
Cons
Pay is not enough for the amount of work you put in
Pros
The work schedule is very flexible and my immediate team members are wonderful people.
Cons
Unfortunately, there are too many to list.
It starts from the top down - senior management is totally out of touch with middle management. Senior Management is comprised of people who are incompetent and basically landed in top jobs from pure luck or kissing butt.
There is NO career growth at KCP. The only ones who get ahead are those who are brown-nosers and lack any ability or knowledge.
I would NEVER recommend KCP as a good place to work!
Advice to Senior Management
Get in touch and start caring about the people who work here...
Pros
Great people to work with and great work environment.
A socially conscious owner and management that care.
Very few egos. Everybody has a voice and the discussions are intelligent and focused on solutions.
A recent return to profitability and stability after the recession.
A strong brand identity that is protected from within.
Cons
The company is still understaffed in many departments but this is improving.
Needs just a little more focus & organization.
Needs better contingency plans for position vacancies.
Advice to Senior Management
You are doing great! Keep protecting and dialing in the brand DNA and staff appropriately to meet workloads.
Pros
it is a very good environment and good benefits and they make you feel at home as well as the employees
Cons
you have to give 20 to the union fee, and they have a dress appearance code and a no beard policy
Advice to Senior Management
to keep up the good work and i highly recommend them on a grade 1-9 i would rate them a 8
Pros
great product, generous discounts, good benefits.
Cons
promoted to position of additional responsibilities, and made less money. Overall this was an enjoyable place to work for a part time job, or as a student. They pay was much better than what most sales associates make.
Advice to Senior Management
consistancy in pay. Some sales associates make more money than their managers. This seems to erode morale within the team.
Pros
Employees are very young and open minded. Very friendly environment. Get lots of vacation time.
Cons
The work can become overwhelming due to lack of staff, and sometime the work is not appreciated. The work sometime can get stale and redundant.
Advice to Senior Management
Possibly hire more junior level staff instead of management level employee.
