    Pros

    Really great employee discount, great medical & dental benefits. staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Moral of the store is very poor, employees are treated as a number by management and can be replaced easy. Pay is poor and raises are given if they like you.

    Advice to Management

    Management are very rarely seen, you need to be more involved on sales floor. Raises need to be given more often.

    Staff are great. Easy to get ahead because people leave on a regular basis

    Cons

    Terrible work/life balance. Bad pay. Terrible management. Poor leadership.

    You need to revamp your whole management structure. Pay is terrible

    Discounts on products. Flexible for time off

    Cons

    Very negative environment. Assistant Manager was stealing and discounting for her friends. Management lied to staff Alot of Gossip Called in on days off to work Salaries sucked Abuse of authority Labor laws not adhered to

    Learn some management skills instead of bag licking for position. Lead by example!!

    Pros

    Other staff are wonderful. Feel bad leaving them there when you leave. Walking out the door when you leave is the only pro to this job.

    Cons

    Brutal management. Zero people management skills. They want you to work 65-70 hours a week and get paid for 40. Zero work life balance. They talk the talk about training and work/ life balance but there is very little training and zero work life balance. Scheduling doesn't allow for any kind of life after work. They expect you to be there an hour and a half before your shift starts and ends but not be paid for it and come in on days off very frequently is executives are visiting from head office. The worst job I've ever had, hands down.

    Advice to Management

    You need to know how your store managers are running the stores. Talk to the staff. One on one. If you know then god help you. You will run out of talent soon. The mount pearl store is bleeding talent quickly.
