I have been working at Keppel

    Pros

Good place to start a career. You get to be very hands-on in your field, thereby picking up skills and knowledge "swimming at the deep end".

    Cons

Home grown management that was not looking out for best practices from the market, believing in its own tried and tested Keppel Way. Failed to retain its mid-managers over the years, leading to succession problems at senior levels.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Renew and rejuvenate the management team. Bring in new leaders that can take the company through the next 10-20 years.
