    Pros

    Great atmosphere in Beloit. Good benefits. Always looking to advance and grow in every way.

    Cons

    Some managers are better than others. Constant changes within the company (but that can be a pro too).

    Advice to Management

    Make sure people get proper training and have adequate equipment to do their jobs to maintain efficiency.

    Pros

    If you give 110% to the company they will give that in return. They recognize hard workers and will give you the opportunity to move up no matter what your position or title. If you are confident and step up to solve challenges for them they will recognize you and you can move up quickly.

    Cons

    It's hard work and requires sacrifices. If you are looking for an easy ride, this isn't your ticket.

    Pros

    I find little to find positive after my tenure at Kerry. I resigned on my own free will. I was totally disengaged despite a good wage.

    Cons

    No empowerment. Their way or the highway. Employees are let go with little thought. Work/life balance is ridiculous in the supply chain. If you accept a position at Kerry, do not buy a house and keep your options open until you find yourself stable. This stability will take over one year.

    Advice to Management

    Engage your employees. Quit overworking your workers in the plants. Listen to your employees. Get computers in the plants and get rid of the paperwork. You are 30 years behind technology. Invest in your plants instead of building new Kerry Centers in other parts of the world.

    Pros

    Very high turnover does portend to create opportunities, but...
    The only reason I would consider working here is if I was unemployed. I would not recommend anyone consider leaving their current job for a job at Kerry if they were anywhere close to being happy in their current role.

    Cons

    Not willing to pay for quality leadership. Those employees who stick around would be challenged to land a similar position at a customer or competitor. Extremely weak talent base across multiple functions(HR, Purchasing, Supply Chain, R&D, business management, Operations, etc.)

    Advice to Management

    Brace yourself for the upcoming SAP go-live in North America.

    Values and Principal based company doing some great aseptic work and committed to excellence and a will to succeed

    Pros

    As a graduate out of college, Kerry hired me and has a respectable training program. They have you train under an experienced employee for 9 to 18 months. Kerry values young and fresh thinking minds as well as experience. With their training program, they get the best of both worlds. The vacation time is very nice as well as good benefits.

    Cons

    Communication between corporate and the plants could be better, but overall a good company to work for.

    Fast paced professional, dynamic environment. Very good benefits. Good company.

    Decision making too centralized--a bit totalitarian.

    Encourage more input from employees. Get away from the country club mentality.

    Great working environment. Very good communication plus safety.

    Cons

    It was very, very strict. 9 Point system. Accumulate 9 and they would fire you.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be so strict. And should have better people skills with employees. Treat people like people. Not a number.

    Pros

    Good benefits as far as medical and 401K.
    Good experience because this is a global company.
    Very good chance that you will be promoted if you stick around because of the high turn-over rate.

    Cons

    Worst part was the people - lie, cheat, steal, harass, cannot perform job duties. When brought to HRs attention there was no real consequence to these actions.
    Low morale - no one was happy.
    Constant over time - nights, weekends, holidays, with little to no warning that it was coming, no incentive, and no good reason for requiring it.

    Advice to Management

    Hire new people who are qualified for the position.
    Fire people who bring the company down.
