on paper, it's a global company, and it retains some top clients.

ketchum in china is different from US. management is out of HK. ketchum only owns a minority stake, and a small cadre often makes decisions in isolation that affect the entire mainland operation. money from every office goes into a 'greater china fund'. little to no transparency on how that money is spent. as a result, can't help but have ethical concerns about how the business is run. staff is operating over capacity leading to long hours and minimal investment is made to remedy situation. leadership in HK does not appear to have a clear vision, or it has not been articulated. since i have been in office, staff morale has been low. coordination with global network is minimal.

Advice to Senior Management

make investment in your people and business growth opportunities. don't make decisions in isolation in HK.
