    Pros

Innovative, collaborative, opportunities for growth. Fast-paced, exciting - never bored! Ultimately, the people make it work. Employees are passionate about our products, and our brands - they are dedicated and hardworking.

    Cons

Need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and evolving to meet the needs of the business. Not necessarily a "con" but rather a call-out as that type of environment isn't for everyone.

Great benefits and good product. Always innovating a new product and trying to stay ahead of the game.

    Cons

Not sure the direction of the management. Lack of clear goals and guidance on how to move up.

    Advice to Management

Stick to what made us the great company it was a few years ago.

    Pros

    Loved my group of people.

    Cons

No real career path communicated in our area. Way to many outsider hires created confusion on company direction.

    Pros

Good/ smart people, low cost benefits, free coffee monthly, beautiful headquarters building in Burlington MA, commitment to innovation

    Cons

Work/ life balance is non existent, top down innovation development versus listening to customer needs, many strategic miss-steps in last 12 months, too many senior leaders versus employees doing the day-to-day work. ,

    Advice to Management

The senior leadership team needs to spend more time with strategic customers and spend time with the KGM employees versus all day internal meetings. The C-Suite is top heavy. Too much legacy thinking. Serious lack of integrated marketing planning.

    Pros

Great benefits, beautiful offices, innovative company, lots of training opportunities.

    Cons

Top-heavy org structure with many senior level new hires and not enough managers. Lack of clear decision-making rights and planning processes. Culture is deteriorating - it used to be a collaborative, respectful work environment. Company is losing its heart for CSR.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your consumers and employees and build plans with their input.

    Pros

The people who day in and day out work hard to keep creating the ultimate beverage experience in every life we touch (the do-ers not the managers/leaders).

    Cons

Leadership is sadly lacking in the past three years. Unfortunately this company once truly cared about its people and doing great things in the world, now it is just another CPG company going after the almighty dollar. Not because the people who worked here wanted that but because the people who came in did.

    Advice to Management

Get back to the roots of what Green Mountain Coffee was and you might start turning a profit again.
