Pros
Key does a pretty good job serving it customers.
Cons
Management is ruled by poliitcs and artifice.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop over monitoring employees with high levels of activity reporting.
Pros
good leadership accross the board
strong market presence
Cons
poor market
tied directly to economy
Pros
Key has a lot of good workers in place, good benefits, and adequate working conditions. All Key work locations are convenient to get to.
Cons
Too structured and too many procedures in order to get anything done. Management has somewhat lost sight of what it used to be like working in the trenches. Too many meetings for the sake of having a meeting.
Advice to Senior Management
Get rid of the suits and ties and try to be more human in your approach. If you have good services and products, the word will get out. Like all big companies nowadays it is very difficult to talk to people anymore. Need to adopt a more 'home style' look and approach to your customers.
Pros
Facilities, peers, diversity, lines of business
Cons
Poor communication from management. Not much confidence in leadership
Pros
Large company which is good for growth.
Cons
Promotion guidelines are do not take into consideration all factors.
Advice to Senior Management
In order to bid on a posting that is only offered internally external applicants basically have to be successful tellers. If an employee is not good at the teller function then an external applicant has no chance to be successful in other departments.
Pros
4 weeks vacation right off the bat.
Cons
Lower level management tends to take credit for the work tellers put in and are pressured to do.
Advice to Senior Management
How exactly do you sleep at night? LOL
Pros
Overall a good marketing organization
Cons
Same problems you'll find at any really large corporation--right hand doesn't talk to the left. That, and they consolidated the department and laid off a considerable amount of staff.
Pros
Time off is good and able to telecommute.
Cons
Ohio rules and they just don't understand the divesirty in the workplace.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the those on the front-lines
Pros
- people
- benefits
- upward mobility, especially if in the Cleveland area
Cons
- pay
- don't try to keep their employees
- no exit interview
- put in notice, and was the last i heard from my manager, after 7 years of service as a High Performer.
Advice to Senior Management
take care of your employees. Employees are loyal to the people they work for and with, not to organizations.
Pros
Excellent people to work with in the IT sector. Very knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions you might have.
Cons
Management policies can vary from one team to another. Too much outsourcing of development and application support staff in my opinion.
Advice to Senior Management
Help the american economy by retaining jobs here in the states, establish equal policies among each technology group, increase salaries to industry standards.
