Pros
Relationship banking. saying it and meaning it at least until now. I have always had good bosses who I felt I could speak openly with.
Cons
Changing environment towards more focus on sales at any cost. I feel that the way things have been lately the trend of going towards a bank of sales volume tracked aggressively creates a higher stressed environment. The medical benefits are expensive for the coverage that you get. I didn't even participate this year because the plan offered. As of late the balance between work and life is harder to maintain because of above aggressive sales pushes.
Advice to Senior Management
Give branches more FTE. We can't go get the business if we can't leave the branch.
Pros
Key does a pretty good job serving it customers.
Cons
Management is ruled by poliitcs and artifice.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop over monitoring employees with high levels of activity reporting.
Pros
Benefits are good (401k match is each pay period, not just once a year); no micro-management in the areas I've seen. Employees are generally happy to work here. Offers a generous number of PTO days, not vacation and sick days.
Cons
It's a large corporation, so change is slow. Headquartered in Cleveland, OH, so most jobs/advancement requires a move to Cleveland. A steady financial industry job is risky due to mergers and technology developments. Most employees have worked for Key for a long time, so some tend to only want to do things the same way.

Pros
If you needed to work nights, they offered a second shift that works well with spouses who work days. The job is not too stressful.
Cons
I did not get the recognition I deserved and when I was being harassed by fellow employees, me and my witnesses was not allow to speak out about it. I had to call the hot line and file a complaint and then I left he company. Pay discrimination, women was paid less.
Advice to Senior Management
Know the work that is going on around you. Know how to fill in if needed and have some hands on experience. Allow people to file their complaints and give them a chance to speak with out being shut down or have you play favoritism. Build unity within the group and give out more recognition to those that work well and hard
