I have been working at KeyImpact Sales & Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great PTO, great work / family balance

    Cons

Not many advancement opportunities, no emphasis on diversity, raises are far and few in between, no real training program, will continue to give you more and more work without compensation, no clear definition of duties, advance who they feel like advancing and never based on work ethic just favoritism, 401K program is horrible, Benefits are mediocre....

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at KeyImpact Sales & Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Trade shows were fun but a lot of work, could make your own schedule most of the time.

    Cons

too much windshield time, favoritism when it comes to raises/salary, barely any opportunity to move up, poor management and unorganized structure in higher ups. A lot of the new ways of doing things were all based on info you put in salesforce rather than building relationships with customers. Big brother was always watching and it didn't matter what you were putting in the salesforce system even if it wasnt true they just wanted activity.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and maybe the company wont have such a high turnover rate.

    Cons

Top heavy management. Salaries cut for folks being merged into the company when their company is bought. Cumbersome CRM system

    Advice to Management

Quit nit picking and nickle and diming your folks to death.

    Pros

management incompetent negative work environment employees were promoted only due to favoritism - not experience raises and bonuses given to favorite employees mgmt expected employees to come in when very sick

    Pros

No bozos. The staff is intelligent, motivated, and non-political. People work as team mates with little backstabbing.

    Cons

CEO has ADHD. Or so it seems. Has difficulty pulling the trigger on decisions and following through on them. Support staff (vendors) are friends of the boss, although not necessarily the most qualified.

    Advice to Management

Company is too large to have senior management be up to speed on everything that's going on. Loosen up, you've got people who are more than capable of working on their own.

    Pros

-Fun environment -Great clients/customers-You get to sell some great brands and interact with intelligent associates. --Plenty of work to be done. Boredom is not an issue

    Cons

-Lack of innovative leadership-The economy has changed, the company culture hasn't -Not much youth or diversity -No career path, even in sales -Office politics play a role. Less value is put on what you do as opposed to who you know.

    Pros

Great job to have as a hold over until a good job comes around. Not too much stress, especially for what you get paid

    Cons

Micro managed, treated as if you are inferior. Compensation way below industry standards. Objectives and urgency change daily. How do you run a sales organization without offering some form of compensation opportunities?

    Advice to Management

You need to pay good people in order to keep them happy and motivated.
