    Pros

    - flexible timings with no stress to come at a particular time unless it is meeting or interviews.
    - Good place to use online Library and resources to increase the knowledge.
    - Work from home option.
    - leave options are more now.
    - small teams and more interaction among the departments.
    - Robust products in the portfolio which provides great opportunities to work on various aspects of them.
    - scrum meetings that allow transparency across what is happening with the product timelines.
    - multi cultural working environment with workforce from all over India and also all around the world from places like San Jose, Glasgow, Japan and China.
    - Employee Training options are always encouraged all through the year.
    - Good chances of promotions and increments and bonuses are paid on time.
    - Salary is never delayed and always on time.

    Cons

    - WorkFromHome option is not open to all employees. Mainly restricted to leads and managers.
    - Too many projects at the same time with less resource makes it cumbersome to work with so too much expectations with the resources.
    - Most of the employees work in tight deadlines with little amount of thought going in to what they are doing or what can be better.
    - Less R n D and this results in assumptions about a product success which in turn leads to less product penetration in the mass.

    Advice to Management

    - With careful planning they are already doing what is best possible.
    - Need to be swift in terms of changes in the products that happen in the marketplace. Otherwise competitors always go ahead.
    - For those changes to implement, there need to be proper dedicated RnD team in place that does PoCs and researches on new developments in the existing product possibilities.
    - Using single resource for multiple activities and products is a failure. Try to increase workforce and use dedicated resources.
    - work place needs to be modern with the seating not to be in old cubicle system but more open which is followed in new startups and young companies.
    - more team building activities should be conducted over the year.

    Pros

To start off, I have been at KPT for more than three years. Initially it was an excellent place to work with good technical team, but that last year and half has been bad due to new management

    The only Pro currently:
Not much Work. If you want to relax at your workplace and pass time, then KPT is the best place to work.

    Cons

Their product (Adaptxt) is saturated. There is nothing new to work on and nothing new to learn. Who ever joins now will have to work on code developed 1-2 years ago.
Poor Sales Team. They have absolutely no idea about the product.
Poor Senior Management. Again no idea about the product or about what was done, is done and will be done.
They always put a feature/idea related to product extremely late by making it extremely complex. Simplicity isn't something that people think of at KPT
    Absolutely no innovation.

    Advice to Management

Do not put fake reviews on this site.
    Do not waste money.
    Know more about your product.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Flexible Timings
    Nice Work Environment
Excellent Team members with positive attitude and good technical competencies

    Cons

Lack of vision, can not differentiate between fantasy vs goal vs vision, all of them are one and the same for CEO

Lack of decision making abilities, there is no concept of collective decision or group decision, All the decisions from Higher management are emotional rather than logical

CEO is Moody and Fickle minded person, he can get influenced very easily and his decisions keeps changing just like chameleon changes its colours

Incompetent Sales team, don't even know the features of the product but they sell the product, but CEO keep praising about sales team and he is very proud of having such sales team

Poor market research/analysis before starting any new product development, There is no concept of SWOT analysis in this organisation, if you are able to please your CEO with any stupid idea then still it can be sellable

Improper product planning and development, the project priorities keeps changing everyday and it is completely driven by customer mails. if there is a small bug reported by customer that becomes top most priority for that day and all other projects gets starved and tomorrow something else comes up, priority gets shifted to that project

ROI metric has always been overlooked, CEO just goes by sales team prepared forecast of revenues without actual validation and here comes the best example to depict his strategy

"If there is a business opportunity for 1 rupee, management thinks a lot to grab that opportunity and very cautious about development cost and allocates only 0.25 rupees towards it but finally ends up in spending 100 rupees towards marketing and sales tasks to sell that product for 1 rupee, in the end either they will sell it for 0.50 rupee or just scrap the product, this has been the strategy always and if board of members questions about revenues then cost cutting will be implemented where they will fire the innocent employees who can not raise their voice and drawing salaries less than 10K and interesting thing here is that, during the same cost cutting period they will hire sales team with high profiles(with their CTC you can hire at least 10 good developers and start a new product development) to increase the revenues and expand the business"

Senior management doesn't even know the difference between perception and reality

Higher management keep saying about Teamwork but they fail to follow teamwork at their level

Firing policy is absolutely ridiculous, bottom of top performers also gets fired, indirectly passing a message to other top performers to look out something outside

Finally if your CEO says 2X2=6 then if you accept it and nodd your head then you are safe but if you say no and try to correct it by saying 2X2=4 then that's it, it would be the last day for you in this Organization

    Advice to Management

It is difficult to change their mindset, if they have potential to bring-in change in themselves then it is wise to give piece of advice to make the organisation bit better but the CEO/management is always like "I very well knew what ginger is and it tastes sour like jaggery!", for such kind of management there is no concept of advice

    Pros

Learning is good for freshers. Can't say the same for experienced professionals.

    Work like balance is ok.

    Cons

Managers are technically incompetent. Also there is no project and resource planning. Every day manager assign new task to developers.

There is no one whom you can lookup to or get inspired from.

No job security, from last couple of years, the started firing one person from each team every half yearly. So now only handful of developers are left.

The hike for last 2 years is in the range 2-8%. Hr says there is no money as there is only one client and one product.

There exit policy is bad too, if you resign, they will stop your salary for 2 months.

Leave policy is hilarious, if you want to take more than 3 days leave, you need to take approval of the CEO.

No on site, only one development team in hyderabad.

The sales team minimal knowledge on the product features, as a result company is not getting any clients. So in haste they try to sell the feature that is not in the product and the blame comes to development team for not delivering the said feature.

I will not suggest any 2+ Years experienced developer to join the company. If you are good in programming, you will be highly disappointment. If you are average or bad, they will probably fire you.

    Advice to Management

No point in advising, as they won't be implementing the required changes anyways.

Working here an employee would have good work-life balance. A company with good values.

    Cons

No learning curve. Inexperience managers. Lack of projects.

    Advice to Management

Managers and HRs should go through the "the lion and the ant fable" at-least once.
