    Pros

With the right manager employees can thrive and grow. Unfortunately, not everyone here can be so lucky.

    Cons

Stagnant work environment. People are promoted to management solely based on relationships with C-level executives and how much revenue they generate vs. actualy having interpersonal & leadership skills.

    Advice to Management

Re-evaluate your business strategy and make more attempts to think outside the box. Embrace change and innovation.

I have been working at Kforce Government Solutions full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Stable job and been employed with KGS for 6 years+, benefits are not bad, but as with any contracting type of job if there is no contract they will cut you in a heartbeat.

    Cons

This company doesn't pay for training. Next contract requires 3 certifications which equals 5 tests, and the company line is get certified for find another job. The whole onus of prep work and test taking is up to the individual.

    Pros

looks good from the outside, but don't let that fool you.

    Cons

I'll be surprised if this company is still around in a few years. Benefits keep getting cut, morale is bad, promises aren't kept. Revolving door, contract losses, layoffs. Unfortunate because it seems like it used to be a good company.

I have been working at Kforce Government Solutions full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy to tele-commute. Can manage your own time. Access to current IT & software. Comfortable work environment. People work well together.

    Cons

Hard to build working relationships when not in the corporate office. Always fires, hires & shifts in mgmt & BD. Known as the 6 mo sweep.

    Advice to Management

Make it easier to know what projects are being worked on, who's running it & how to provide inputs. Reduce the red tape & policies.

I worked at Kforce Government Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary was comparable to other companies in the DoD contracting space.

    Cons

Upper management turn over was rampant. Although I operated above my pay grade and the position I was hired for, I never received a bonus or other additional compensation. KGS also had very few avenues for associates to branch out to in terms of additional work. This is bad when the unexpected strikes and you are left without another opportunity to move into. There is no pre-defined 401k matching amount. It is depended on company performance and is a very minuscule amount, with absurd vesting periods. KGS also cut employer eligible spouses health insurance coverage.

    Advice to Management

Place more value in your employees and strive to provide them better benefits and more lateral opportunities.

    Pros

Good work-life balance if you work in the headquarters. Free coffee in the kitchens. Office is very quite.

    Cons

lack of advancement opportunities. There has been a lot of layoffs where the employee was asked not to share with coworkers that they'd been let go. Employees are treated like numbers by management. Leave benefits are below average.
