I worked at Kforce Government Solutions as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

The management team at Kforce Government Solutions was knowledgeable and professional, while generating an atmosphere of camaraderie and satisfaction with the client. All aspects of the company were available for my use, including personnel, help desk and benefits. They are well-organized and efficient, in my opinion.

    Cons

I was employed by them for 18 months on a government contract and didn't really experience a situation that was negative.

    Pros

Good work-life balance if you work in the headquarters. Free coffee in the kitchens. Office is very quite.

    Cons

lack of advancement opportunities. There has been a lot of layoffs where the employee was asked not to share with coworkers that they'd been let go. Employees are treated like numbers by management. Leave benefits are below average.

Benefits are better than at many companies. I worked under contract remotely.

    Cons

Very little contact with other members at this company, only with other members of my team.

    Pros

Ok benefits. Good team to work with. Good training with skill port so if motivated, good personal growth.

    Cons

Bad management environment. Narcissistic. Tends to range from demotivating to no attention at all. Definite feeling of being valueless to the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some management training. Value your associates as they are the reason you get business at all.

I have been working at Kforce Government Solutions

    Pros

    There are free poker tournaments.

    Cons

This is the place to go if you want your personal property stolen. My friend had his bike stolen by the staff. Jordan, one of the night servers, stole his bike and put it in his SUV. When confronted about it he said “I don’t know how it got in there.” He then ripped it out of his SUV, damaged the bike and took off before the cop’s arrived.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Put up some camera's and keep an eye on your staff.

I worked at Kforce Government Solutions full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Basic business model offered significant opportunities to capture Federal business. KGS' parent company is Kforce a publically traded professional staffing company enabling KGS to identify qualified personnel for Federal programs in IT, financial services and healthcare.

    Cons

Senior leadership lacked knowledge of the Federal marketplace and knowledge of specific agencies that were target customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Must stabilize BD staff turnover and retain key management with strong backgrounds in the Federal government - both executive and legislative branches.

    Pros

Good place to gain federal consulting experience. They do have some interesting small to medium sized contracts. Flexible work hours for most employees which is a big plus.

    Cons

High turn over rate of upper management personnel. My boss changed at least 5 times while I was there for about 7 yrs. The management team makes so many promises but never delivers.

I have been working at Kforce Government Solutions as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

    The title about covers it.
I can say that the employees are great to work with.
So far, the medical insurance has taken care of everything it should.

    Cons

Local contract Program Director is not respected by employees or customers, and for good reason.
Little Paid Time Off (only 80 hours for first few years, so it takes a month and a half to accrue a day off).
    Low pay.
Pay is twice a month, which can complicate budgeting.
Benefits costs doubled from last year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

How much do you know about your local Program Director?
