Pros
Great benefits, job perks, year end bonuses, annual sales award trips.
Cons
Very challenging to balance work and life as outside sales rep, grow new sales in inherently low performing territories, and break into "boys club" as a female.

Closing our local mill due to a poor business decision made by the leadership.

allow fair competition buy selling mill to a possible competitor instead of destroying the site.

This company is very marketing centric - too much so, actually, to the point of being bloated.
Too many meetings. Lots of planners - not a lot of doers.
Company makes bad decisions in regards to outsourcing certain projects.
Some policies are too rigid.

Don't be afraid to utilize your internal talent for outsourced projects.
More focus on building talent needed.
Current review process is a waste of time and resources.

Advice to Senior Management
Be willing to take more risks. Focus LESS on money, and more on making quality products, innovation, and strong marketing. Expand and deepen product lines. Continue getting K-C back to the prestige it once had!
Pros
K-C does a wonderful job of attracting great talents. It's a place where you can meet a lot of great people who genuinely care about you as a person.
The company gives one a lot of responsibility and opportunity to great professionally early in career.
Cons
Career options and advancements slows down when you pass the 10 year mark. It has a lot to do with the mature nature of the business and slow growth.
There are a few management favorates who get promoted all the time even if they are not ready nor capable. The management has special agenda when it comes to promotion: females have a definte edge.
One seldom gets approval from upper management for a job well done.

The people are great. The products are awesome. The values of the company are in line with my personal values.

Limited growth in new products. Highly exposed to commodity prices of pulp and polymer. Expansion in other regions difficult to realize.
