I worked at Kimberly-Clark as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

KC encourages growth by providing cross-functional training to employees. Great corporate culture. Flexible time for employees. Encourages lateral moves with-in the company.

    Cons

Many job roles are located in Wisconsin - some people may not want to make that move.

    I worked at Kimberly-Clark

    Pros

Very relaxed culture for a large corporation. Employees are very nice and supportive of one another. 1/2 day summer Fridays are nice.

    Cons

Very different feel across brands. One brand may do things one way while another brand may do the complete opposite. Hard to figure out what the company strategy is vs. individual brand strategy as a result.

I worked at Kimberly-Clark as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Got real experience solving an issue with a product to be marketed in 2015/2016.

    Cons

People don't know what they want. Mentor/other stakeholders were so busy with their owned schedules that I didn't get the help I needed when I needed it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Know what you need. Don't expect your co-ops to have all the solutions to your problems, especially when you don't help them grow

    Pros

Great opportunities to work across different teams and work collaboratively with others. Great support from more experienced employees. Friendly and helpful staff.

    Cons

Instruction and roles were often undefined. Some tasks were repetitive and did not provide challenge. Communication between leadership and team members was not always effective, resulting in job duplication or gaps in work arising.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Discuss ways with team members to ensure they are stretched and challenged. Ensure that have a clear idea of their role and are able to review and assess progress and decisions with the leadership team.
