    Pros

Physically low impact work. Electronics oriented. Good trust worthy workers.

    Cons

A lot of sitting with very little moving around. Insufficient ventilation for chemical fumes. Very little room for advancement or raises. My pay increased about $1.50 over the course of 5 years. Average benefits.

    Advice to Management

Loosen up on wages and pay attention to work conditions.

    Pros

It's a company that has a lot of portfolio, health care, etched.

    Cons

If you are a woman don't expect to be properly compensated, expect credit for your work or expect career advancement. There is a reason you don't see women in the executive seats, besides human resources. Sad that this is a good ole boys club. The one good woman executive was run off.

    Advice to Management

People that drag the company down seem to be the ones you continue to reward. The ones that deserve recognition are the ones treated as a doormat.

    Pros

Currently, health benefits are still good.

    Cons

Unless you are in upper management, your salary gets capped pretty quickly. Over the past decade they have systematically shaved down benefits to the point where you're working for diminishing returns. They have been preparing to outsource administrative positions to India, and will do so around the first of the year (2015). As far as personal growth, that can happen, but you really have to know someone to get anywhere. Things are in such a transitional state with them right now, it is difficult to gauge where they will be in a year. They are focusing on getting their stock price back up to where it was 10 years ago; they don't care about your career goals.

    Advice to Management

    They don't take advice.

    Pros

    A decent source of income.

    Cons

If you don't comply with bonnie inconsiderate request which tend to be against company policies/ against the law she can lay you off or cut your hours.

    Advice to Management

    Stop abusing your authority.

  7. Less office politics than other places but not sure if there's room for promotion

    Pros

Friendly coworkers who are family oriented Supportive supervisors Professional people on most every levels

    Cons

Have a way of doing things that are a bit round about due to size of company Should look into stream lining process and not create redundancy At times, too many cooks in the kitchen, as they say.

    Advice to Management

Keep the big picture in front of your worker bees. Remind them of what impact they have on the company's goals Give them enough time and resource work on projects you deem important. Otherwise, it's just employees going through the motion to meet deadlines without providing quality work.
