Advice to Senior Management
executive management needs to know how to manage an insurance company to be profitable. it's a "good ol boys environment"
Pros
Good benefits, lots of paid time off, nice people
Cons
corrupt management, was not paid well for what i did, laid-off most employees who knew what they were doing and kept all the ones that had no clue
Advice to Senior Management
Hire some managers/supervisors that actually know what they are doing, instead of hiring friends.
Pros
Good place to learn how insurance.
Cons
Do not pay well. No recognition of job well done. No flexibility in work time.
Advice to Senior Management
Recognize people you hire. They may be extraordinary and talented. You will not know if you do not know them or listen to them.
Pros
The job market is poor at the moment. They are willing to take people off of the street and train them. There are a variety of different lines of insurance and products that can be learned at the claims and underwriting departments depending on which Kingsway department you work for.
Cons
Kingsway values people who work cheaply. When given a choice between two employees, they will often choose the cheaper of the two prospective candidates. This is the Kingsway business philosophy. They do not value top performers. This is a common trait throughout all the Kingsway companies. Top performers leave the Kingsway Companies. Henceforth, Kingsway is a good company to learn at and leave.
Advice to Senior Management
I would tell them to lowballing employees on thier salaries and pay people for what they are worth.
