I worked at Kmart full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I was able to be promoted to a salaried management position without a collage degree.

    Cons

Kmart expects you to work many extra hours without compensation. The base pay is a 48 hour workweek, however I almost always worked close to 60 hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please update to stores. The California stores look very old and dated compared to Walmart and Target. Kmart has a great assortment of products and prices however the look of stores is keeping new customers from discovering this fact.
