Scratch beneath the surface and you'll find a mixed bag of good, bad and ugly

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI cannot think of anything really good about Knightsbridge. Some of the people are great and it's got a good central location.

ConsVery poor leadership and senior management group who will only help those that they like. Over consultative in their decision making and really need better processes. Unless you're one of the senior folks the pay is terrible. Lot of the consultants think way too highly of themselves 'look at me, I've a phd and I've written a book'. Get over yourself.

Advice to Senior ManagementSquire dome true inspirational leaders and start valuing your staff at all levels not just at senior level. Invest in your internal processes do that you have a stronger internal foundation - everything from performance review, assessing manager effectiveness, comp strategy.

Can't Say - That Would BE Suicide (Current Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

    ProsGood People that work hard.

ConsKnightsbridge presents itself as visionary in its HR Capital Management approach and solutions. Ironically, the company acts like every other business I've worked for - the CEO is King - capricious and arbitrary - and the visionary solutions we propose for our clients are not followed internally.

Advice to Senior ManagementSomeone needs to tell the Emperor he has no clothes!

    Practice what you preach...

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsConsultants and above positions are valued at this company.

ConsAdministrative positions are undervalued at this company. CEO is all about the bottom dollar. Even if that means undermining the satisfaction of his employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake your own advice and practice the services that you offer to other companies.

    Great company to work for

    Associate (Former Employee)

ProsFlexibility with work role allowed positive work/life balance.

ConsConsulting demands can always present challenges to work/life balance

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to consider PT and Associate relationships which allow the company to have access to great resources while allowing the individuals more control of their work commitments.

Smart hard-working people doing good work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat people, interesting projects, top performers at all levels. CEO has passion and makes a point of getting to know all employees.

ConsThe high performance culture means a lot of work and perhaps pressure on work/life balance. Compensation structure is not always transparent.

Advice to Senior ManagementDevelop greater diversity throughout the organization, particularly at senior levels.

Visionary, collaborative, results driven company for smart people who want to work on complex human capital challenges

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsI'm proud to be part of such an innovative and fast growing company that helps organizations seamlessly find and develop their people, and optimimize their talents. The people are smart, but humble unlike many consultants. Experts in each of the companies practice area work closing with their peers in other areas to help address client's unique needs and challenges.

ConsIt is a lean and fast growing company which can be difficult for people who are not entreprenuerial and have difficulting dealing with abiguity or the high perfomance culture. Some employees who have worked for larger organizations have difficulty understanding why we can't have all the resources of larger organizations.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to communicate our vision and unique brand proposition

    Moody CEO

    Manager (Current Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsSalaries are in the high range compared to industry. There are lots of opportunity to work on interesting client projects and expand your skill sets. The local office leaders have autonomy to manage their business and for the most part are competent leaders.

ConsThe CEO is moody and unpredictable. His vision is solely based on unrealistic monetary gain. Management by consensus gets in the way of action. The culture supports preferential treatment and favouritism. Senior leaders change their opinions when they realize the CEO has a different opinion.

Advice to Senior ManagementWalk the talk by embracing and implementing internally the services you sell to clients.
