    Pros

Management makes me feel like I am a valuable asset to the company. I'm encouraged to seek educational opportunities and become a better employee. The work environment is great, laid back but everyone gets their work done. Employees take pride in their work and it shows across the board from the field to the National Support Center. Tom Wyatt has taken casual Friday to casual Monday through Friday and it makes for a comfortable environment that is conducive to productivity. Management takes an interest in their employees and strives to make the work environment a healthy place to be. Random Acts of Kindness week was amazing!! You don't see that in many companies. Encouraging service values in all areas of the company makes this a great place to work.

    Cons

Benefits are expensive and coverage isn't up to the average given by other employers. Mail order prescription benefits for maintenance medication is not a good plan. Overall this is a minor con compared to all the positive aspects of working for a great company

    Advice to Management

Expand bonuses to all employees. Every employee contributes to the success of the company and every employee should reap the benefit of the company's success not just a select few.

    Pros

Full TIme job, site design flexibility, programming flexibility.

    Cons

I'd just like more supplies *I'm very artsy and craft design orientated*.

    Advice to Management

I'd like to see us get our weekly supplies two weeks in advance, so we can have time research how we'd like to add to the programming. I think this would help us be able to get parents to bring supplies in for the next weeks program.

    Pros

The children are awesome, if you love kids you will smile at least a few times a day... Even on a bad day. Monday through Friday schedule is nice.

    Cons

Management cares more about child to teacher ratios than the child's needs.
Too much focus on money and less on the children.
Benefits are lacking, pay is well under what is deserved for the amount of work you put in.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your employees happiness, show you care. Focus on the children and not the money.

    Pros

Professional Education Department who writes industry leading curriculum which teachers have the freedom to apply their own creativity to.
Some of the best leadership I have ever worked with

    Cons

I understand this company has had a history but honestly can say my time here has been one of the most positive professional experiences I have ever had.

    Advice to Management

Continue investing in your people and quality education! There are some great things going on in the field!

    Pros

I absolutely love the office I'm at and overall really DO like my job and have no issues with how I'm compensated or the perks, in fact it's a great work environment.

    Cons

Unfortunately, field execution in every possible way is the opposite: sales teams are lazy, with their leadership refusing to hold them accountable, actual operations of our centers (in other words, the end product) is painfully mediocre (even though, again, corporate runs really nicely).

There's also a lot of pursuing the wrong thing, for no apparent reason

    Advice to Management

Hold your filed departments accountable. Don't accept excuses and finger pointing for reasons that things don't get done. Hire leaders who actually lead, not try to be popular.

    Pros

Children, families, staff and sense of community

    Cons

Children, families and staff. Corporate says they are "here" for you but they are now. So far from the truth

    Advice to Management

Stop with the conference calls, summits, and basically all the corporate BS! You say it's all about the children but....really....is it? Start listening to your employees....all of them

Still long hours, managed like a child care facility
occasionally sent home if no children
might run on state ratios instead of naeyc
expected to show up when it snows
    low pay

    Advice to Management

Lets become more like a school and give the teachers a raise
