Pros – Upscale Place - Looks OK on your Resume " If Employers have heard of the 1 location in VA"

Current Employee – been working at Kona Grill
Pros – Definitely a fun place to work, money is good, and employees actually care about each other and their jobs. A much better restaurant environment to work in then others in area.
Cons – Some shifts while working on patio can be very hectic and if you only have experience with three table sections you would not do well here.
Advice to Senior Management – Being a little more lenient on company policies and not being as strict when you yourself are engaging in some of these.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Kona Grill part-time
Pros – The scheduling if very flexible. With the use of online scheduling it is easy to get shifts covers or pick up shifts.
Cons – Too big of a menu, ranging from pizza to sushi---with no real speciality. Quantity over quality in this case. Clientele is just as broad as the menu, making it hard to distinguish if it's supposed to be fine dining or a cheap bar.
Advice to Senior Management – Be hands on and don't focus on micromanaging. These two things affect turnover rates.
