    Field Technician (Former Employee)
    Las Vegas, NV

ProsThe location that I worked at has a very competent service director and was a pleasure to work for,the team that I worked with were all great techs.

Consthe corporate staff sometimes makes decisions for us local people without checking into what and how we feel about said decisions.

Advice to Senior ManagementI would suggest to upper management to consider the local team management more closely before they make our decisions for us.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Poor pay, unfair management and nonexistent support brings this nightmare to life.

    Account Executive (Current Employee)

ProsThe sales reps and certain management are helpful considering the extreme lack of sales support.

ConsKonica offers their sales staff absolutly no support at all. No updated sales collateral, incompetent and lazy administration, a useless customer management program and inept sales managers makes this job impossible. As per our office stat rankings 75% of the sales force is below 60% of quota. The remaining 25% has either inherited large accounts or facility management companies or are favored by upper management. This place is an absolute nightmare and a momentum killer.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe US division of Konica Minolta needs restructuring from top to bottom. Sales processes and rules must be established to avoid miscommunication which slows down the sales force a great deal.

Great company to work for if you have the right management.

    DTS Sales Representative (Former Employee)
    Akron, OH

ProsStarting pay is professional. Larger company to accomplish your larger sales goals.
Good entry level opportunity after you are right out of college and can achieve a real career opportunity. If you have another opportunity by all means take that one instead.

ConsBranch Management is not professional or refined enough to keep talent. Regional and corporate management need to make decisions when it comes to promotions. Local branch managers should not be given the ability to promote. This makes for a personal favorite approach instead of a professional "job earned approach". Too many bar-time favorites get the nod, leaving harder working family oriented personnel at a disadvantage.
No loyalty of past work, in short this is a "whores market".

Advice to Senior ManagementTake a few ethics courses. Brush up on your people skills, not against the next naive female that comes out of college.

Good People, Awful and COA management

    Technical Support (Current Employee)
    Windsor, CT

ProsThe coworkers are great. To many good people scared to leave because they feel secure.

ConsManagement is more worried about finding the fall guy and covering their own butt when issues arise. Talent and work ethic does not matter, Its all who you know. To many managers working on their own agenda. They even offer gift cards to you skip lunch and take calls, then never come through with them.

Advice to Senior ManagementStand up to dealers and stop wasting talented and hard working people to do tasks a fifth grader could do just to hit your number.

    Excellent company to work for.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat pay for performance. If you work hard and hit plan you are compensated very well. The harder you work and the more effort you put in, the more you get back. They also have an aggressive base and benefits package.

ConsCopiers are becoming more and more of a commodity so you have to be able to differentiate yourself and sell software/solutions. There are a number of dealers that you will be competing with who sell the same product line.
